This is the only real solution that I can offer anyone. Cox will not even acknowledge this problem, yet this post has 5500 views.... Re: Uncorrectables on ALL downstream channels. What could be the problem? If there is any evidence you can provide me in regard to the QoS issue on the AWS54.239/52.239 networks that would be greatly appreciated. I am sure I can show them the problem from my individual network, but they will most likely want something a little more concrete. Proof that they are timing out requests from only Cox IPs would be the real kicker, if I can find the proof. Re: Uncorrectables on ALL downstream channels. What could be the problem? That sounds like it will get their attention. I know of other people personally who are struggling with this issue. This needs to be fixed and I will not let a bureaucracy stop me! Re: Uncorrectables on ALL downstream channels. What could be the problem? Thank you for that insight! We are thinking in the same vein. I'll have the in-home tech that's coming tomorrow know that and see what he has to say about the issue. Re: Uncorrectables on ALL downstream channels. What could be the problem? So if you are a person with this problem, the best recourse would be to contact AWS? I am willing to do that. Re: Uncorrectables on ALL downstream channels. What could be the problem? The CM600 is replacing a Motorola SB6121. Thanks for the input, Rob. Re: Uncorrectables on ALL downstream channels. What could be the problem? Problem being: this isn't the gaming companies problem. Epic Games has 10's of millions of customers with no problems. Is it not Cox's responsibility to ensure that their service is the best possible? (Especially since Fortnite is the largest game around right now) Re: Uncorrectables on ALL downstream channels. What could be the problem? Would a defective modem not be ruled out by similar values being shown with the SB6190 on the same system? Is two bad modems more likely than a problem on Cox's end? Re: Severe packet loss (Upload) to amazon web services (Fortnite) - UPDATE 1/9 Same Problem. Cox fix this! BUMP. Re: Uncorrectables on ALL downstream channels. What could be the problem? The game specifically is Fortnite. EpicGames definitely uses AWS for their servers. Edit: With regard to the gaming during this period. I do believe I tried a few matches to see if the packet loss issue was remedied (of course, it wasn't). Double Edit: I cannot believe I am just finding out about this upload packet loss problem between Cox and AWS How have they not acknowledged that yet?
