I see that original poster Nomisj was able to adjust the different model remote too....good to know for future updates. 30/15 is so much better than the default 5min...the game watching, live or recorded is great....have a happy Holiday. I'm not sure if replacing the 0030 with say a different set would change anything. It might be a fixed set of values....looks like user Nomisj found the fix too, even working on a different Remote. Re: Cox mini box and contour? I have 2 stand alone mini box that receive many of the cable channels that work on TV's that just are used for viewing. It's surprising how many channels are available...ESPN, CNN, FOX, kids channels.....If you have the mini's and have multiple TV's you don't need Contour. However, if you want to record, search or voice remote, Contour 1 or 2 is required. The cost goes up because COX charges for service and device. The mini's are really inexpensive. I have 2 Contour2 boxes, instead of 1 Host and 1 client for the 2 DVR. There also is a 6record for a higher price. I do pay extra for the higher tier, however, no premium channel. NOW, because I pay extra, I'm not sure if the mini boxes pick up these additional cable channels. TV prices are way too high Re: Cannot access Phone Tools I just went on to My Account/phone/Call History. Voice Tools window appears with the Call History of incoming/outgoing...Could it be that you are not allowing cookies or got an Ad blocker turned on. Is this the first time that you've gone here or went many times prior. Can you see your billing info and other items in your account? I connected another phone to the wall plug and it worked. So, I re-plugged in the power cord to the base of the other phone and all is OK. Should have tried this first before posting. I have re-seated each phone on the chargers. Is there a way to go Online to reset this specific modem or is pulling the power cord, the only option (requires moving clothes). I see an online Reset, but I believe it's for the internet modem, but not for the Phone modem. I also could not find an Online Chat link in my Account. Also no phone number for support, or these numbers are buried in some link....Bad! Re: Cox Contour 2 Record 6 DVR recordings deleted overnight GabrielB...I don't have a 6DVR, just the 2 record version. When you remote to Contour/Recordings...you said very few recordings are there....but are there still some left? Can you tell if it's date related. Also, on the top line there is a %Full|#Recordings ...could these numbers also show a a huge reduction. I have never hit a max threshold number so I don't know what happens if one is met. Other posters have had issues with this but not many or if any, solutions are given. If files are literally gone from the disk, then the %Full should show a huge reduction. Re: Cox Remote After the initial press of the input button (lower rt on contour2 remote), a display appears showing the different inputs going into the TV...like TV, HDMI..etc. To scroll the list, re-press the input button again. Leave the choice on the screen and display will eventually go away. Re: Amazon Prime Video not recognizing Prime Membership First, log on to PC and Prime and see if you can watch a movie. Then go to the COX app for Prime. If I remember, there was some sort of handshake, like a password that needs to be entered on the TV screen. I've forgotten the details but you can try HERE I set up My watchlist either thru the PC Amazon or thru the COX App for Prime. Not too bad. The PC is faster at scrolling the various themes rather than the remotes scroll and page buttons. I'm not sure if the TV uses the hardwired internet or Wifi, obviously it needs one.
