why have programs disappeared from the DVR?

Over the last several months recordings have disappeared from the DVR. I did not delete them. They never appear in the deleted list. The stats on the DVR say I have 53 recordings. I have 39. I want the disappeared ones back. I have used the Cox support chat several times for this problem but it has never been resolved. HELP!

How long have you had the DVR? Could be a hard drive that is starting to die. Any unusual noises or heat coming from the box?

Recordings are randomly being deleted off my DVR - TV - TV Forum - Cox Support Forums
