It's slow because Contour is not a good streamer.

Cox needed to stop subscribers from "cutting-the-cord" so instead of trying to beat the enormously-popular online services (streaming), Cox join them by putting steaming apps on their cable-boxes as well as marketing Internet-connect cable-boxes.  It's just gimmickry.

If you want to stream like a pro, get a device actually designed to stream:  better chipsets, better OS, better decoding, better support, freedom to choose apps...better remotes.

remember, not all smart tv's, by ag,e can add 3rd party apps....as i found out.

fwiw: i use voice with pano unit to get to hbo/hbo max, netflix, peacock without any 3rd party apps.

        Those would be bearone TVs.

        What's the "pano unit"...router, wireless cable-box?

hbo/hbo max, peacock, tubi, netflix all come up fine for me with my 500 ultimate package.
