Any updates to this? I have the same issue. I just put a new hard drive into my Roamio Plus to see if perhaps corruption was the cause of my problem, it was not. As soon as my Tivo sees the TA it reboots. Or if it detects it, a couple of button presses on the remote will cause it to reboot. Very frustrating. Have already swapped out a TA and a CC since I had this issue.
I would look into a different device or service. Something like YTTV. CC are either dead or dying with most ISPs. Comcast killed them and Cox follows what Comcast does usually, since they license their video back-end software. The FCC doesn't mandate them and it costs the ISP profit. Also, I think Cox will soon switch from QAM based TV service to IPTV so there is more bandwidth for internet speeds, which won't work with CC. Finally, there is the fact that Cox is upgrading some areas with fiber, which further makes CC less appealing because the fiber ONT don't have a coax output.
Not saying it's impossible to troubleshoot the problem, but the people who can at Cox is less and less and there is very little motive to do so.

I love the Tivo experience and once Cox drops all support for cablecards, I will drop Cox Cable and just cut the cord. But until then, I will expect and want the Tivo experience that I pay for.

Cutting the cord as in dropping TV service or all service with Cox? Because the former is what I am suggesting. Either way, good luck. You can try emailing Cox via the welcome sticky, but I doubt they will be able to troubleshoot CC issues. I would also suggest you try DSLReports, but they are shut down now.

No luck at all. No one could figure out the problem and I wasn't willing to pay for the newest TiVo box to see if it would happen with that one too unless I knew that the problem would be fixed. Unfortunately I had no choice but to throw in the towel and give up TiVo. I now have Cox equipment and DVR service. It's adequate but nowhere near as good as TiVo.
Pretty sure this is Cox' way of putting the nail in the coffin of CC and TA support since they are no longer required to do so.
