Exactly my thoughts, I just tried to log into Paramount+ app on Contour box tv, I have two Paramount+ Showtime channels. I launched the paramount app on contour, and it gave me a code to enter on paramount website. Nothing happened so I contacted Paramount, they said they have 5 providers that include their services free and Cox ain’t one of them and I would need a subscription with them for it to work. They said Cox needs to submit a request to them and they will add them to their list. How hard is that. Let’s go Cox get with it, I’ve been a customer for over 35 years and pay $300 a month. If you’re not going to have Paramount+ free for your customers don’t show it as bundled to Showtime. I don’t need a cox contour box to get the Paramount+, most everyones smart tvs have the app already.

Thanks Chris but that’s just a bit frustrating for everyone thinking they could access paramount+ for free through Cox. I did not plan to buy a paramount subscription because I only watch movies and tv shows through a tv not phone, computer, etc. See what you can do to help everyone and please keep us advised.

Respectfully Walt it didn’t say that in the original cox description I guess until enough people complained and they added that. First of all why would Cox add it to Showtime when you can just use the Paramount app separately on your smart tv and pay the same amount for subscription. It’s not that it is a deal for it to go through cox.
