Panoramic connection to Smart TV

I have a new Samsung Smart Tv and I have Panoramic wifi.   The tv is in the basement, the wi-fi is in a room above.  TV cannot find connection.

    you're probably on ether-net & i believe you have to select wi-fi in contour settings.
