That modem is 10 years old and issued with a CD-ROM.
Cisco may stop supporting but that doesn't mean it won't be compatible on the Cox network.
In 2005, Cox installed a standalone "box" for my phone service. Years later when Cox started shilling backup batteries for their eMTA, I asked what device Cox had installed in my house. Not only did nobody at Cox know what I had, but they didn't even know I had it. "We're not 'seeing' any telephonic device in your house or on your account. Do you subscribe to our telephone service?"
I could have tossed this thing into the dumpster and Cox would have never known to charge me for it. (That's saying a lot!) Instead, I returned it to the Solution Store but they didn't know what it was. "That's not ours." Finally, a Fossil emerged from a back-room crypt and recognized it. Then he started yammering about working at Media General and I got bored.
Anyway, my later research revealed it was Arris Interactive Cornerstone NIU-Voice Port. I'm sure Arris had long since stopped supporting it but it still worked on the Cox network as of 23 May 2019. Some subscribers are still using DOCSIS 2 modems, so manufacturer support isn't necessary. Again, if you're satisfied with it, use it.

They should know by the MAC ID what the equipment is. Who the hell hands out equipment without keeping some sort of inventory?? There are 3 different MAC's on my box. And yes, I am bundled,,,and have FCC open issues with Cox losing important calls I've made..possibly indicating they were never made. And these are not answers or solutions here...they are excuses. Sorry to be so blunt...but today 7-9-19...ESPN & ESPN2 have been removed......what's up for tomorrow......no cartoons or CNN news?? Absolutely an terrible way to treat anyone

A MAC address on my old Voice Port? I doubt it. It was connected inline with my Internet modem and on the voice network. It was more of a transceiver than anything.
Any inventory would have been by make, model and serial number but Cox had since dropped it from my account.
