every time I turn my tv on I get sound but no picture. I unplug the mini box and plug it back in and it will reset and picture will come back on. What could be the problem. I have to do this at least twice a week. I have a roku smart tv.
Sound but no picture is odd. It could be a faulty Mini Box. It could be a faulty HDMI. It could be a faulty port on your TV. How is your Mini Box connected to the TV?
i had 2 roku units before getting a smart tv.....what is a roku smart tv?
It's a TV with the Roku app.
However, if you want to stream, get a device engineered to stream. Meaning, a Roku device would have far-superior chip sets than any TV...especially in the age of UHD audio and video. eARC is an evolution but you'd still want a separate device to decode video.
