Contour 2 daily restarts

  1. Ever since a cox tech replaced something on the pole outside my house several weeks ago I have almost daily service interruptions requiring a reboot.  Sometimes more than once a day.  I just replaced one of the in house contour boxes last week and it’s been no help.   I just lost service twice in the last hour and it’s still just showing the welcome screen for the last 10 minutes    I’ve ask the techs on a chat and on the phone to send someone to look at the hardware on the pole which must be defective and they won’t do it.

    This happens to me too. Every day. Did you follow up? Did they fix it?

      Yes a tech replaced the filter on the outside of my house and the signal splitter from my modem.   That did the trick.
