Can I connect a sound bar to my 1980s tv via Cox mini box?

I have a mini box connected to an early 1980s RCA XL 100--I'm using the coaxial cable to connect box to tv.  Can I connect a sound bar through the mini box HDMI port?  If not, how might I be able to ...

Hi BB1984, if possible, HDMI is your best bet. The mini box only has coax and HDMI outputs. Your question is a bit outside our normal scope of support, so I'm hoping some of our Forums superstars will have ideas and suggestions for you. ðŸ™‚ -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
