Both of our wireless cable boxes went out at same time

  1. My hardwired box works fine and the internet is up and running. 
  2. I reset everything, unplugged and plugged back in. Refreshed entire system including router. 
  3. How can 2 boxes fail? Is this a router issue? A tech cannot come out for a week!

    It's possible the wifi signal may not be reaching the boxes, also make sure the moca is enabled on the gateway, and both 2.4 and 5Ghz share the same SSID.
