Does the spam blocker only work when nomorobo is activated?

No, I have neither Simultaneous Ring nor Nomo enabled on my account; however, I do get a Save option with my Spam Blocker.
But have you ever activated the nomorobo? I think the reason that I couldn't get the save button to appear was because I never activated the nomorobo. Now that it's activated I can see the save button.
I have a call-blocker. I don't have a Nomo account, I've never signed up for a Nomo account nor have I ever enabled Simultaneous Ring. I don't use Voice Tools. However, every time I log in to test something...such as for your post...Call Waiting is always enabled. I always disable it, and then Cox re-enables it. I do not like Voice Tools.
That makes two of us 🤣😂
I use PhoneTray connected to a USB modem and then connected onward to a telephone wall jack. It's quite "lightweight" but provides call-blocking, call history, customized rings...
Another bug that I have is that all of these forum notification emails are going to my spam folder for some reason 🤔
I've read these duplicate bugs with other members. I'm not sure if there is a fix other than reviewing your spam settings and filters in webmail.
I think I have to add the forum email address to my email contacts. I think that will work.
I'm not trying to stop the notifications I'm just trying to get them to go to my inbox instead of my spam folder.

It's working properly. The problem is that the emails keep going to my spam folder instead of my inbox even after I have added the email address to my contacts.
Did adding the email address work? Testing, testing...Inbox test.
