Forum Discussion
There are three possibilities.
- Cox actually did cancel a provided service to a paying customer. (No, I don't think so).
- An equipment or signal issue caused loss of phone service. (Possible).
- OP is a troll and made it up. (Probable). You joined our little community late tonight. If you're legit, contact cox.help@cox.com Provide your full name, service address and a description of your issue.

I didn't actually call OP a troll. It was the most probable possibility. OP wasn't a troll. but you are.

Why are you here? This seems to be your first post. I am not taking a side either way, I am just curious how you came to be here to even see the comment. I think the issue is a lot of frustration from people posting complaints without any technical data of their setup or what troubleshooting they already did. It's like 98% of this forum is just people who post a complaint and are never heard of again. Will the above post be your first and last?

seems i angered the elitist circle.
none of your business why i came here, armchair moderator.
but if you must know i had a curiosity due to a recent modem issue and explored the forums to see if other, more mature, users were facing similar and was considering posting a thread to maybe gauge some advice and just stumbled upon this thread and was disappointed to see an "Honored" Contributor immediately call the OP a troll and then backpedal once he gets called out like this is Reddit or something.
