This is wonderfully circular. I already did that. That's where I got the information that I'm responsible for anything that needs to be done to get the one room in my house that won't require running wires everywhere "ready" for this "upgrade" I don't want:
"A MTA Telephony Modem will use the coax to receive signal, and then can connect to a functioning phone or phone jack in the wall. If the phone jack in the wall or inner wiring in the home is causing the service not to work, then that would need to be repaired in order for the MTA Telephony Modem to extend the signal through the inner wiring of the home."
I don't hear Cox offering to waive a repair fee, or the fee you usually charge for activating the coax in a new room.
