Your Cox.net email will soon move to Yahoo Mail

Your Cox.net email will soon move to Yahoo Mail

"The countdown has begun and your Cox email will transition to Yahoo Mail in about a month. Rest assured, knowing you'll keep using your same Cox.net email address, messages, folders, contacts and calendar!"

I just got email from Cox starting with the above quote. 

Question:  What does "Cox email will transition to Yahoo Mail in about a month .." mean?  Will I get a definitive count down or date before the process triggers?  I need to backup all my current email "just in case"  (Outlook on Windows 10 plus Mail app on iPhone).

    You will receive one last official email once the transition has been completed and will need to follow the instructions provided to continue to have access to the email account. It is a very simple process of agreeing to Yahoo's terms and conditions and then logging in. If using a third-party client like Outlook, you will need to update the server settings after the transition, but not beforehand.
