You do know I'm not a customer right?
Actually, I kinda like the way Cox did this. I have multiple email accounts all used for differing purposes, and it would be a MESS to have to create 9 new ones on another platform and move everything over.

That is until Yahoo gets hacked again and all those accounts are compromised. A ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I see your point though. It is easier. My point is it may not be better though.

That's why my email passwords are all different AND never the same as a password I use anywhere else. I also have 2 factor authentication setup for many of my other logins, credit cards etc. Even if they hack my email account, they get nowhere, and really don't get anything of value.

Not everyone does that. Some people use the same username and password for everything. It's scary.
