The purpose of his reply, was basically to tell your kvetching rear, what you already knew.
As for negative experience, it's not the norm, as Cox has a LOT of customers, far more that are happy than the complaints you read here.
Additionally, you reap what you sow. If you treated Cox agents the same way you treated WMO, well, I really don't need to say more. If you don't understand, than MAYBE you should walk a mile in THEIR shoes.
Now that we have THAT out of the way, the purpose of these forums is for Cox customers to assist one another, WMO knows his stuff, I am a network engineer, and can also provide assistance in getting things working. If you want help, we will be glad to help, if all you want to do is troll and kvetch, well, you can go pound sand.,
Apparently poor customer service is the norm. Just look at the related content. When looking to post my experience I came across this platform, which had numerous other complaints of poor customer service.
It’s folks like you and others who defense their poor customer service actions that allow it to continue. The fact this forum exist is proof positive Cox is failing in customer service otherwise you wouldn’t need volunteers, or whatever his role is, attempting to solve paying customers problems.Customers should be able to call customer service for assistance and not have to stumble upon a forum and seek support from unvetted individuals.
Now that we have that out of the way. Get a life.
