Hello friends, My problem is I fixed it 2 days ago generating an app password Thank you Londonb95! but now I cant send messages and it says the server smtp.mail.yahoo.com so I generated another app password today from Yahoo and using that, and it still will not accept it and send email .
I am receiving mail but cannot send any! I am at a loss how to fix it, been working on it for 2 hours with various attempts at changing things.
Any suggestions? I created this new IMap account as I used POP before but it wasn't syncing desktop with iPhone. How could it work 2 days ago and today rejecting email?
I am having the same problem both on my phone, ipad and Macair. It has not downloaded all my emails and I can't send any emails. I have tried all the other instructions but to no avail. I have 3 emails and cannot send from any of them. I can receive most of the time. Ugh! Any solutions for iphone, or mac would be appreciated.
Hi toddandleanne. Please provide a screenshot of the outgoing email settings on your devices in order to get help. This will make it easier to see what is happening. Before changing any server settings, please move all outgoing email out of the outbox as this will make it easier to fix.
