Technician Fee

Hello,

We recently moved into a new apartment and our coax outlet plug was completely gone. Had a technician come over and fix it, and said usually when the customer is not at fault, they could waive that technician fee. I still ended up getting charged that fee. Is there any way to get that fee waived?

Everything past the demarc, where the coax from outside connects to your electrical ground, isn't Cox's responsibility. Maybe see if you can take it out of your rent? Ask your landlord who is responsible for the wiring in your complex but not your apartment.
