Switching internet providers-keep existing email address?

I’m considering switching internet providers and I was wondering if I will get to keep my existing cox email address if I switch?

Hello, once your cox.net email account has been migrated to Yahoo's mail servers. It belongs to them and will remain active if you move or close your Cox account with us.
