Im here in Henderson with Gigablast intermnet...getting 9-15 mb/s download speeds. Tech came in and blamed my house wiring and told me to purchase complete care and pay to have my wires replaced. I wasn't buying it. I had her take my modem and plug it in outside the house where the tap comes direct from the street. Guess what....still 12 mb/s download.
Replaced my router, plugged into street tap...12 mb/s download....30 upload (has always been fine)
Tech said i needed my line from street to home replaced. Next day they replaced the line and my speed stayed the same. I had about 30 minutes of 350mb download then back to 9mb.
Called COX AGAIN!!!! They said i needed a tech to come out and ask for higher tier support to check substations etc. because they cant request it over the phone. tried to tell me I needed to pay another $75 for a tech to come out. Still waiting for tech to come out tomorrow to tell me they have no idea what it is. I have had this internet for 4 months and it has NEVER been good.
Wish we had other decent options out here because their customer support is trash. I spend more time on the phone trying to fix my internet than I do getting my work done at home.
yeah i am really starting to thing we might need to band together and start another option out here for internet. People are doing it all over the world for super cheap. This *** is absurd.

I work from home and literally cant do my work. Lets add to the fact that I pay for streaming TV through their wireless box and cannot even stream cable
