I signed on for TV and internet for 2 years with a total bill guaranteed rate of 174. IT ONLY TOOK 2 months for them to raise this 'guaranteed' rate. I spoke to 2 different reps who obediently quoted what they were supposed to. Stating the internet still at its promotion rate but the TV had an increase. SO apparently, Cox is slithering around its own words. So, now this isn't a contract but a promotion. Seriously Cox. Just scamming all of us suckers.

If local/state taxes and fees increase, that's [assed on to the customer. While the basic rate will stay the same, taxes and fees are passed on, they are NOT included in your "guaranteed" bill.
