Router not getting IP address from Cox

Starting this week, every day internet goes down with issue being no IP address being assigned to router. Reset of the modem fixed issue until today. Reset doesn’t fix issue. Cox support doesn’t understand, should be able to trace a dhcp request and see what the response is on their end.

    Have you tried another ethernet cable or doing a factory reset to the router? Also are you able to access the internet when bypassing the router?

    Have you tried a new or different router?  How old is the router?
