Red flags marking buried cox cable in my yard for months
Why have cox flags marking buried cable been in my front yard for months? I can’t find anyone with a definitive explanation to talk to. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

No, I’m actually located in Scottsdale, AZ.
Same thing happened on my street due to an exposed cable that needs burying. I thought we might be neighbors.
If there are no signs of an exposed cable, you might want to call 811 (the national call-before-you-dig phone number) to see if there was a locate ticket that is now expired or closed. They should be able to tell you why the flags were placed and if it's okay to remove them.

cox farmed out their work again to 3rd parties who...well I have stories.
Since it is your property you can remove them, no one else is going to do it.
