No Access to Cox IMAP Email Account

You logged into your Cox account, changed your password and then updated the password in Outlook?

As another stab in the dark, you wouldn't happen to also subscribe to an Email Hosting Company? Another poster had a problem with Cox but come to find out later, the OP had EHC between Cox and Outlook.

You could try deleting your profile in Outlook...after backing it up...and re-add with new password.

You could also update your password in Control Panel as opposed to solely Outlook. Sometimes it helps.
