I had this same thing happen a week or so ago. They did the same thing with the 163 email on my amazon account. I also found that 'they' had put a filter in my cox email settings to route all email from amazon.com directly to the trash folder, so I wasn't seeing what they were doing (right away). The name of the email filter was ' ' (blank) so I didn't see it at first. COX definitely has a security hole or some of their offshore IT employee/s are playing around with customers emails. I moved my amazon stuff to another email system. Anyway, I'm sort of glad to see that others had the same problem, I knew it wasn't something that I did. Amazon will probably have to have COX customers change to another email provider. Just to add, the email they changed acct to in my case was: 'yuan353843fang040@163.com'.
