I upgraded, but not we're noticing any difference. I've impressed my friends by doing a Speedtest (Wow! 1GBPS!!) but what I've come to realize is that whether I have a 100mbps or 300 or gig, in the end, the websites, on-line games and apps I access only upload or stream to me at 10-20mbps, say. Netflix, for example, doesn't look at your 1G connection and start streaming a higher quality video - it's the same stream whether you have a 25mbps or 1Gbps....so, it's kind of like having a Lamborghini capable of amazing speeds, but only using it in 15mph school zones. It looks good, but... If you have, say, a dozen devices going 24/7, streaming 4k video, or you're a professional content creator, for example, the 1gbps speed might be a valuable upgrade. If it's fewer devices streaming 1080p and checking emails or shopping, a 100mbps is probably plenty. For me, I'm thinking of going with the 100mbps and upgrade to unlimited bandwidth, instead of sweating it out the last few days of the billing cycle as I encroach upon that new, arbitrary 1TB Cox limit.
