This happens when Cox is having systemwide problems with email. We first saw this several years ago when Cox was changing servers. Sometimes you have to re-enter the password. Other times, you can send emails but not receive (and vice-versa). The main thing to know is that it is not your computer or browser or Outlook which is at fault. I am not currently having the password problem but my emails are sending very slowly.

Mine does it too. I just Cancel the prompt and sometimes goes away.

Hi Bruce, we do not have any examples of text that would flag a draft email as spam. However, we do have a few articles providing additional information about spam.
We hope this information helps. -Kevin M. Cox Support Forum Moderator
- KevinM2Former ModeratorHi Jocko2019, can you please make sure the password you are entering into Outlook matches the password used for webmail.cox.com (your Cox password)? We would recommend going into your Outlook settings and deleting the Username and Password for the incoming and outgoing settings, then re-entering them.
Please also ensure that your software settings are up-to-date. Here is some additional information about the Outlook Email Client server and server settings.
