Panoramic WIFI Modem

I swapped out my one year old modem for a new one, and they gave me a panoramic modem. Now, my landline stopped working and my internet intermittently goes in and out every few minutes. Sometimes I have to reboot the system to get it to connect again. As for as my phone, it hasn't worked since. I've has 3 chat sessions with Cox. A total of 4 hours, and they haven't done a **bleep** thing.
