doesn't require pin, if you get PODS, they connect using WPS only. Which means if you happen to use PODS, you cannot turn off WPS and you cannot use wpa3
If you have Pods, the software on the Pano enables WPS? I guess the big question for OP: Are you using Pods?

I was using the pods as an example. WPS is set to on, by default, in MOST WiFi routers and WiFi modems.

The three things I do when getting any router is
1. Change the default password and passphrase.
2. Disable UPnP and forward any needed ports.
3. Disable WPS.

...and wait for someone to "push" updated firmware to it?

I guess we need to define "on." WPS is enabled on most routers by default; however, the Pano just isn't discovering by default, correct? You'd have to push the button to turn "on" discovery mode.

I just read an article dated 5 years ago, WiFi Easy Connect...as opposed to WPS...was to be compatible with WPA3-Personal for credential-less connections.
Does the Pano...with its boasted "Advanced Security"...only uses WPS?
