Ongoing maintenance outages in Oceanside, CA
I've had Cox for two years at my current location in Oceanside. It has been mostly smooth and stable the entire time. Starting about a month ago, we started having intermittent issues some days, with long stretches where the internet would cut in and out. This week, it has been nearly every single day. When this happens, I use smart help, which then indicates to me that there is maintenance in the area and gives me an estimated repair time. Here is an example:
"We are performing maintenance work in your service area to improve network performance. While we understand these service interruptions are frustrating, please know our teams are committed to restoring your services as quickly as possible."
Then it provides an estimated repair time.
I don't mind Cox making upgrades, my question is what exactly is happening in my area that is making this nearly a daily occurrence? How long will this be happening for?
