This is completely ridiculous. I've been having these problems with Netflix ONLY for a few months and it became better, but for the past week- its bad again. I am in the Orange County CA area.
Speedtest shows I get 375-400mbps no problem- everything else is great.
Fast.com will show anywhere from 500kbps to 4mbps. Crazy.
I've called the tech line and everyone is clueless. CLEARLY THERE IS A BAD ROUTE in the Cox infrastructure, or their engineers have no idea what they are doing and doing some sort of data throttling/shaping to Netflix traffic. I don't care if its by accident or intentional FIX IT or i'll be reducing my package to a slower speed and coordinating a class action lawsuit because of this. FIX THE PROBLEM.
