Classic Webmail loads.
Hi Davesatbat, are you able to send and receive mail from Classic Webmail? Compose a new email and put your email address in the To field. Put "test" in the subject line and the body of the email, and then press Send. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
Yes, that works, but it's been working all along. Classic email is just not adequate. HTML doesn't work so you can't create links do bold type, underline, etc.; when you try to forward an email the text from the original email doesn't get included; and those are just a couple of obvious problems. I need that type of functionality or I'm going to have to look elsewhere to get it.
- Hi Davesatbat, it sounds like your email address has not yet been migrated to the new platform. Email accounts remaining on the Legacy email platform are scheduled to be migrated before the end of the year. I suggest that you continue to use webmail.cox.net so you can send and receive mail and access your contacts. You should get an email announcing the move to the new Cox Email platform a couple of weeks in advance of the change. -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator
So on the legacy site why does is show an html option when it is not available? And is there a setting that allows me to forward a message or continue a thread with the forwarded message and entire thread included with my comments?
