I use outlook, but I have to use Cox web mail to delete emails. The folder for "Sent Items" only shows up on cox webmail.

I have a Sent folder in Outlook (I'm using Outlook 2016 for Mac) but all is normal in that folder. Outlook is configured using POP. I wanted to configure it so that after I downloaded mail to my home computer, it would no longer be on the server. This isn't really working right either, but didn't work at all with IMAP.

Does the box next to "Leave a copy of messages on the server" have a check in it? -Becky, Cox Support Forums Moderator

Yes, that box is checked. below it says "delete message from server after one week." HOwever, I may not have made my problem clear. The problem is not with outlook; it is with Cox Webmail, where there is a folder called "Sent Objects" that does not exist in outlook. That folder is where the problem lies, as it is full of oversized multiples of old messages. Could Outlook be causing this?
