I have the same problem. It states the certificate isn't valid.

Hi KDA55, there have been recent changes made to the Client Server, with the intention of enhancing the protection of customer privacy information. Emails sent from a Cox.net email address will require TLS v.1.0 security encryption or later. Applications such as Outlook, Apple Mail, and mobile devices on older operating systems are affected, and the Cox Webmail is not affected by this change. -Kevin M. Cox Support Forum Moderator

Why weren't customers notified of this change?

Cox typically does not troubleshoot Client Servers such as Outlook, Mac Mail or IOS mail, etc. We do provide email server settings, should a customer choose to access their email address via a third-party system.

The changes that were made only affect customers using outdated email clients or mobile devices. This did not in any way impact a customers ability to access their Webmail on myemail.cox.net.
