I am having problems the last few nights after 10pm with local channels cbs, NBC, abc and fox. I get the error message m.3.1.4. This has happened before. It stops and starts again. Why?? We have had several techs out before on this and no one has an answer. Its very frustrating. They say we live in an older neighborhood and that's why. Really??

I think that is a error when your signal is too low. Do you have internet too? If so what model modem? You might be able to use the modem to see the signal levels on the line. Also, do you know how the coax gets from the pole/street to the box? Last, how many boxes do you have and does it effect all of them?
