Internet outtages in North County San Diego

We have been Cox customers for years, with few problems.  However since approximately June of this year the internet goes down, usually midday until around 7-8pm.  We have reported it, they come out, supposedly fix some wiring, but we are still having problems.  Anyone else have this and any suggestions on how to resolve?  Effects ability to work from home as well as TV viewing options.  Thank you.
