There is a lamp plugged in to the same outlet as the gateway which has worked fine throughout this ordeal and we don't have a backup battery connected. When we completed the network test from the troubleshooting section, it showed that there were no outages and both the speed and connection were good. Also, there were no additional settings or features we found that have been turned on or enabled. We did lose connection earlier than "usual" today, at about 8:15am, so that was definitely concerning. We've decided to give it one last go, so we have another visit scheduled for Friday morning, during which Cox has assured us that a supervisor will be coming out, too. I'm trying to be hopeful so fingers crossed they can find something this time, but I'm certainly not going to hold my breath.
