Intermittent internet connection drop

Hi,

I have been seen frequent connection drops at our residence in Oceanside, CA. The number of service outages has increased in last 2-3 weeks.

My modem is Surfboard 8200 Doc 3.1.

Can someone please explain if signal quality is poor or too high for communication to fail.

Your not locking your OFDMA channel. Also your signal levels are on the high side. Can you describe how the coaxial gets from the street to the room the modem is in? Looks like a amp.

I’ve been experiencing the same.  The internet drops intermittently throughout the day. Sometimes it drops out for 20-30 seconds at a time which disconnects me from my work servers and loses any work.

I noticed it started happening last week and it’s getting frustratingly annoying

I am having the same problem in Orange County, CA.  My modem is a Motorola MB8600.
