OK. I've got you. Understood. I've learned more about Guest Network setting in this short dialog here on the forum but my point remains that there appears to be little-to-no documentation, support or guidance provided by Cox to assist subscribers in the better understanding and use of this tool.
Maybe it's like trying to find a QOS setting on the TG1682 (I've tried; can't find it). Presumably it's a tweak that either Cox doesn't wish their customers to discover or mess with and have as a precautionary measure disabled on this particular gateway. If that's the case I can also understand, but it's quite another matter IMO to display Guest Networks settings and expect users to already possess the necessary knowledge to make the best use of this setting.
So if it's a question of "There's the Setting, make use of it what you will but don't expect *any* guidance from Cox because there isn't any", say so and admit it, or kindly direct me to where I might be able to educate myself more on the intricacies and nuances of the setting for the TG1682.
Respectfully, that's all I'm asking.
