How do you get out of an autorenewal business account without paying early termination
Long story short, I was told by our business account manager that an inside sales rep took our business account and put it on an autorenewal that we can not get out of without paying all of the months services fees until the anniversary date of when the service was set up, nor can we downgrade services without paying the early termination fee as well. Why are we paying $351 a month for an 1100 square foot home for internet that is not a business. They absolutely refuse to let us out of it and also have told us there are no supervisors for us to talk to.
Today I was trying to move one of my residential accounts to a new address. The agent had the address completely wrong and then told me my bill would increase from $50 to $100 month. Why $50 month increase for me to move my own box and hook it up? Why is Cox so big on ripping people off?
