How do I change to WPA2?

How do I change to WPA2?

  • Hi Lakbrantley,

Thanks for reaching out to us!  If you have Panoramic WiFi, this setting can be changed via the Pano App.  Once logged into the app, tap on WiFi tab at the bottom, then select WiFi details. Next, select Edit WiFi settings at the bottom of the page.  The option to change the security mode can be found there.

By chance, if you do not subscribe to our Panoramic WiFi, please reach out to your router manufacturer.

    Hope this helps.

WPA2 is a default setting for most wireless routers, modem/router devices. SOME have WPA3.

WPA3 is partially backward compatible with WPA2 devices in the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands:.

You can enable what's called transitional mode, when enabled, older devices can connect to a WPA3 network using WPA2/WPA3 mixed-mode. However, they won't have the enhanced security benefits of WPA3.
