hi how do i turn off the latest cox customer invasive behavior feature?

so I went to go change  wifi settings and got this presumably to centralize control further in the most backwards way possible. This is completely unacceptable, even for y'all whom I gave ...

I understand some of the options:

Wi-Fi Mode: Enable or Disable
Security Mode: Type of Encryption
Channel Selection: Specific Frequency, 2.4xx GHz (Automatic or Manual)
Channel Mode: ?
Channel Bandwidth: Channel Bonding (20, 40, 80 MHz or 160 MHz)

What's Channel Mode?
