Hardship
Hello guys does anyone know how cox handles valued customer that is having difficulties coming up with payment due to financial hardship? Do they have the option of freezing the account? Any ideas?
No. People really have to start reading the welcome thread. It says clearly:
"Purpose
The purpose of the Cox Internet Forum is to allow customers to discuss technical topics related to residential Cox High Speed Internet services with other customers. If you need help with billing or other account specific issues, please reach us on Twitter at @CoxHelp, visit us on Facebook, or at cox.help@cox.com."
Just contact billing some way and ask to set up a "promise to pay" arrangement. As long as your talking about less then a month, that should be do-able. If you mean longer then that though, you will have to cancel service if you can't pay for it or it will be disconnected for non-payment.
All this was really unnecessary, too many replies were really made. You could have jus ignored an not replied if no one replied that might have been the end. At this point I font think they wanted to contact cox yet, they were jus wondering if there was any programs out there that can help. There is one if you have the ucard with united Healthcare, you get a benefit monthly you don't go through cox but through united Healthcare online an u can use part of ur benefit amount toward ur bill, some ppl use this card for medical needs at store or buy groceries or you can pay ur utilities but I think it's great u can also use it to pay part of cable phone or internet bill. Spread kindness not hate.
What part of this is a technical forum Did you not understand. but you're right, I should have just asked the moderator to lock the post and not post at all.
