I have been having the same issue for several days now and I am so FRUSTRATED!! The TV freezes, then does not restart. Many times I cannot change channels, it tells me "we are having trouble . . . try again shortly" but trying again and again for several hours and it still occurs repeatedly. This has been going on for several days v. . if not weeks. I live in the Tyson's area of Northern Virginia. This is happening with my internet service also.=, not just TV

Yes, I have tried all of those suggestions, to no avail. In fact, it is still doing it this morning and will no longer allow me to reset it as it says I have tried too many times so I must contact COX for further assistance. There are no splitters. I am looking into switching to Verizon FIOS (as it is now available in my area) Too many issues with Cox, and I have been with you all for over 20 years

Kevin, I have reached out, several times, I keep being told that there is a service interruption in my area, they will text me when it's fixed. I received 4 texts yesterday, and each time it was NOT FIXED. This is really unsatisfactory as far as customer service goes.
