So after having I guess the Engineering Team look at it, the Cox Service Tech came back out, and took some readings. Apparently, and FINALLY, I get a straight answer: That Cox is having issues with the Gigablast rollout, and that the best speeds for my area right now are between 480mbps-600mbps. That at this time I will not get above that due to the age of my Node. When I question why it is that areas such as Yukon and Northeast Oklahoma City are getting 700-925mbps, I was told that it is because they are on newer separate Nodes.
So at this point I'll have to decide if I want to continue on this roller coaster or not,or go back down to Ultimate, where I was getting a consistent 360mbops/35mbps.
And for the record, my current speed test this morning, after having a "mysterious 20 minute outage" I had to call in for, is 498/35.
