FYI Independently Purchased TM3402 (and other telephony modems)

Just an FYI, one cannot have a used, of any kind, TM3402 modem assigned to their Cox account.  They simply cannot be registered in their system; the only TM3402A (and I believe all telephony modems, ...

Simply put...Cox will blacklist any telephone modem not returned to 'em because it was either lost or stolen.
