I'm not buying this. I mean, I'm not insulting your awareness but I think Cox convinced you this spike in data is because you "hit something" on your phone. Wouldn't there be audio coming from your phone while it ran awhile?
Anyway...what's done is done...but I'd configure your YouTube app(s) to avoid spikes in case you nod off again.
Also...I didn't see this option in the article but it's within my Roku...is to configure your app to prompt you if you're still watching. If you haven't interacted with the app for 60 minutes, the steam will stop if you haven't confirmed you're still watching.
