Hi Stephanie - the link above redirects you to this page:
A while ago - I was given the following info that we would need to change inbound and outbound server info - which is what I believe the above question is referring:
Outbound: smtp.mail.yahoo.com
Inbound: imap.mail.yahoo.com
I have not seen this verified yet in any communication from cox - I got it from a help desk person.
I've tried both below and neither work.
Incoming Mail (IMAP) Server
- Server - imap.mail.yahoo.com
- Port - 993
- Requires SSL - Yes
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server
- Server - smtp.mail.yahoo.com
- Port - 465 or 587
- Requires SSL - Yes
- Requires authentication - Yes
and also
Incoming Mail (POP) Server
- Server - pop.mail.yahoo.com
- Port - 995
- Requires SSL - Yes
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server
- Server - smtp.mail.yahoo.com
- Port - 465 or 587
- Requires SSL - Yes
- Requires TLS - Yes (if available)
- Requires authentication - Yes

Please try this link: https://www.cox.com/residential/support/coxnet-email-transitioning-to-yahoo.html?campcode=link-learnmore-FAQ-res-srch-email-move-to-yahoo.
At the bottom there is a link to Access and Log in to Yahoo Mail After Transition. You will see additional information for contact should you still encounter any trouble in accessing your email. Thank you.

Hi, there. In Outlook, you might want to try setting up the account as new, but choosing Yahoo as the account type. Outlook will apply the server settings for you. Ensure the username includes the Cox.net (this was not necessary for us, but it is for Yahoo). I hope this helps.
